I am considering an intracompany transfer to London Headquarters from NYC but working remotely in Amsterdam. Will I be taxed by all 3 countries? US, UK, and Netherlands?

Alternatively I could choose to be based in Utrecht and live in Amsterdam. In this scenario, I would only have to worry about Netherlands and US. Any advice?

Dear Freqtravgirl,

Did you already decide which way you are going for? From a Dutch tax perspective you will be considered a Dutch resident taxpayer if you move to the Netherlands. You will be taxable for your worldwide income, with exclusion of some foreign income. If you live in London and work in the Netherlands in principle you will only be taxable for your employment income. Please note that you might be eligible for the 30%-ruling with which you can receive 30% income tax free. Certain conditions apply. Please contact me if you need more advice.
