Change of sponsorship

Good day...

I would like to know on how I can transfer to another company? My current Company is in red and that they have withheld 6 months of our salary and can not even renew our Iqamas since they are block-listed as of now.

I was accepted to a new Company and they have already provided me a Demand letter and a Contract with attestation from the Chamber of Commerce. I went to the Ministry of Labor to submit all of these documents and they told me that the new sponsor should apply this online in Jawasat.

Can you please assist me for further instructions. By the way my Iqama ( expired 2 months ) is with my previous Company and that they do not issue out Release Letters since I tried to secure one from them.

Thank you and hoping for your immediate response.

@marc815

Ask your new sponsor to immediately apply online for change of sponsorship with his labor ID.
As your previous sponsor is in red category your application will be approved immediately.
As soon as you get an approval, your new sponsor can complete the other formalities like issuance of new iqama and change of profession if required.
If you do have yor passport, then you can get a new one from your consulate.

All the best.

As you are in red category , you can easily shift to another sponsor easily  :top:

I wish you the best  :gloria

Please read the steps advised above :)

If you need any other assistance , do feel free to ask ;)

Good day....

Thank you for your immediate response.

I got an approval for transfer to my new company, and that they told me to secure my old Iqama from my previous Company. My question is: " What will I do just in case they will not give me my old Iqama?

For clarification, how long one has to wait to get an approval for transfer of sponsorship after his Iqama has expired taking into consideration that the company is in red category and can not renew Iqamas since it is blocklisted in Jawasat due to pending cases like withholding of salaries...etc.

Your assistance is highly appreciated...

Your new employer can follow-up with a "PRINT OUT" from Jawazat Department, in case you dont have your Iqama.

Your can change sponsorship even if your iqama is expired.
