Hi, I would like to know more about your experience, I have been seeing a woman from Ukraine for a year and a half. I've been there a few times since and she has been here but had to return due to family issues. We have decided that we want to get married and live there in Ukraine. If she give me residents there am I able to work and stay with out the border hopping every 90 days? I also hv a 11 year old daughter does this complicate things? you can reach me here or at acoustic590[at]yahoo.com. I hope to hear from you soon, as this whole thing seems very confusing....

vittt

In common:
1) When you will get married (your wife has Ukrainian citizenship) you can ask ukrainian authorities to give you long-term visa (type D visa). Marriage is a base for D-type UA visa.
Look all here:
http://mfa.gov.ua/en/consular-affairs/con/visa

2) When you will be married more than 2 years you can receive permission for immigration and on this basis receive Ukrainian residense.

After receiving D-type visa you may feel free about crossing border every 90 days.

Will your 11-year daughter move with you to Ukraine? What citizenship do you and your daughter have?

acoustic590

Thank you for the replay, But will I have too cross in and out of the border every 90 days, or will I be able to stay Ukraine longer than 90 days? etc... 100% of the time?

vittt

If you have short term visa (or you are from country that don't need visa to come in UA less than 90 days) - you need to cross border and stay in Ukraine not more 90 days for 180-days period.
If you have long term visa to Ukraine (D-type visa) or residence permition - you can stay in Ukraine as long as you want (or for a period of long term visa. Usually 2-5 year) and you can feel free from crossing the border every 90 days.

Hello.
It is all on your lucky. I only can advice you to use general social networks - facebook.com and vk.com. They are popular in Ukraine and Russia.

Respected,

I'm so interested to study in Ukraine ! I'm from Bangladesh ! Is it possible for you to share some Bangladeshi Student Association in Ukraine or any Bangladeshi student links !
Another question is , how you think about Khrkiv , i want to go here for study , how their living cost ?Is it mandatory for preparatory program ?

Hi
I wish to learn
- Bartending.
- Musical Instruments.
- DJ'ing.
in Ukraine Universities.
Can you suggest good places where the courses could be
- in English too as well as Russian.
- there should be no age bar as I am in my 50's.
- Short term courses on the same subjects.

I think the best course of action is to go with your fiance to the local immigration office and ask. They will explain to you exactly what they want. Or maybe, soon, you may be asking how to get a resident visa for Russia!

Hello.
Here are many foreign students in Kharkov, but i don't know and didn't hear anything about their communities. It is that becouse they meet and spend time only in their circle of friends. And also such communities don't consist of many people.
In common, here are many universities with study programs for foreigners (English language of teching, special conditions, etc).
Price for education - 1500-3000 usd per year (in common).
Price for living - from 100 usd per room till 300-500 usd per flar / per month.
Price for food and common - 200 usd / month is enough.

It is lower lines, of course.

When you will come here i will be able to help you with various starting questions.

We believe, not Russia come to Kharkov but Ukraine come to Rostov and Voronezh. :)))
Russia remains a bit of time...
