Hi

I am exploring how to work as a freelancer in Mauritius. I am a UK photographer and cameraman but want to know if there is much support here for freelancers, such as creative groups, networking events and business development support?

How do people meet collectively on a professional level and are there any up and coming events that I should be keeping an eye out for?

I think the best way to start the freelance, is to shoot pictures during a party in a club or something like that. Afterwards you tag people and publish the photos on your blog,gradually you'll be able to do it:) good luck

That is interesting. Do you have any links? I would like to work with someone on a film or photography. A collaboration of sortsAs such a networking environment to meet the right person would be a good start.
