This is a Vietnam song, we always sang this song when we were students in the university. But the first time I hear this one with Rock style, it was deeply impressed me.

I like Bonjour Vietnam

I have about 15 gb of Rock n Roll (Rolling Stones, AC DC etc) on a USB drive and I like them all, so can't really single one out.

I hired a small Karaoke bar one night in a small town in the Mekong Delta and had an orgy of loud R n R and beer. A good night and loads of local people drifted by and stayed for the music.

Sunday morning, sitting at a cafeshop, suddenly, hearing the voice of a familiar singer. His song remind me of the old days in Hanoi.

Em ơi Hà nội phố

I miss Hanoi, and many friends there. I miss my big family, homesick. Nearly 2 years I haven't come back my hometown... And about 4 years I havent visited Hanoi. My dear friends, do you still remember me? And my closest friend, 6 years passed, are you ok now?

"All of me" by John Legend and "Jar of hearts" by Christina Perri

A trip down memory lane ?

May be you can head to your home town during the holidays?

When scoring, I spend much time to review some my student's error/fault. And post it to FB subject's group. I think it will help them never make the same ones. It took 3 day for 120 midterm tests :(. And now, I have 92 final tests :D. No holidays. Only sitting in a cafeshop to score the tests and read something here :D.

BTW, I like many Vietnam songs, my colleagues and I go to karaoke to relax sometimes.

Now you are being serious!!  :D

Today, sitting in cafeshop, try to finish scoring the tests, and suddently hear "Papa" song. Remember my papa so much. "Enjoy your life, dont work so hard, dont worry about money so much, dont try to do everything in this year! Pls relax, my daughter. Next year, I will come to Saigon to help you...". I wish I never bother you, and make you worry like that. It's very happy because I am your daughter...
