The exception would be for imported goods .. but...The people of Sri Lanka are very friendly and accommodating.

this is very informative whether your are planning to settle or just visiting. it helps a lot with budgetting and comparing prices. Most of the things are importing Specially vehicles from India and japan and foods  from India.
