Are visas being given to expats who left before the July 1, 2014?

hi all,

Since we are in September, do we know of anyone who had left Oman before July 1 2014 and had been granted employment visa. Our new visas are still stuck and we are clueless about the situation. Has anyone received employment visa to re-enter post the implementation of ban.

Yes. some lecturers in the technical colleges were given the visas...

Yeah I'm actually confused on the same, because initially there was a ban on entry for those who didnt complete 2 years, but I did meet some friends during a training program who left their company and got visas issued after the July deadline.
