Marrying in Norway

Post new topic

DutchPrincess

Hello, I'm a Dutch girl, as you may see, and my boyfriend is Norwegian, living in Norway.
We wanna close the Long Distance and I was wondering if this would be possible, since Norway is not in the EU.
I do not speak Norwegian, but I'm willing to. It's probably hard to find a job if you don't speak the language... That's why I probably can't work in Norway.

If we would get married in Norway, would that give me a permanent stay in Norway? Even if I don't work? What would be needed to get married in Norway? Could I get a Norwegian nationality?

Sorry for the many questions, I'm just very uninformed and internet doens't really help me out. Thanks in advance!
