Federal Police, in partnership with the Coordination of Special Resources (Core) Civil Police, seized on the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 24th around R $ 4 million in cash, 50 Kg. of marijuana and a pistol, in two simultaneous actions held in the communities of Mangueira in the North Zone of Rio, and Salgueiro, in São Gonçalo, in the Metropolitan Region. Four people were arrested in the two communities.

In Mangueira, the federal police found about R$3.5 million in cash in plastic barrels hidden in the woods. In Salgueiro, about R$ 500 thousand were seized at the home of a man who claimed to be an environmental engineer.

Looks like somebody's going to have a bad weekend and it's not the Federal Police.
