Oman - UAE Boarder crossing

I am an Indain workiing in MOH oman as a Pharmacist.I am planning to visit UAE during Eid holidays by road.I hold a hand written Indian passport - not machine readable. Will it cause any problem to obtain entry visa to UAE? Earlier I have travelled a couple of times with the same passport.

No it wont be a problem as you mentioned you traveled before on same pp to Dubai.
