New comer to Bangkok

Post new topic

Hello all,

I just move to Bangkok since Dec 2013, but I am not staying long every time due to work schedule. Seems that now I am starting to settle down my life here. Previously in year 2003, I left Singapore and worked in Shanghai for 10 years. It was long time but I was able to manage my life, work and travel around China. It is fun. I met a lot of westerner, Asian and local China. We are still friends even though they are still in China due to their family or their work.

Well, moving to Bangkok. I have to start everything new here. I have a age mother who is still living in Singapore and travel a lot to Malaysia due to her siblings were there. She occasionally visit me in Bangkok.

I love to meet new friends and mostly I would welcome sincere friends. If anyone read my message, would like to contact me. Please drop me an email at ginalowym@hotmail.com

I would keen to learn new good and healthy activities. Nice to meet you in Expat.com.

Cheers

Gina

Hi Gina,
I was new to Bangkok myself 4 years ago. I found it a little difficult to find my way around and learn what was there to do here. I lived in hotels at first and didn't go out much. Just stayed in my room and worked. Now all of that has changed. (Moderated: no free ad on the forum pls + register in the business directory)
Welcome to Bangkok. I hope you love it here as much as I do. I am addicted to how kind and warm and friendly these Thai people are. I can't imagine living anywhere else now after being here for 4 years.

All the best,
Susan
