Hi Everyone,

My friend has come to KSA 1 month back through dependent visa of her husband.Now,she has got job in a company.

Please ans to my below queries,

1)If she gets work visa then will the family status gets cancelled?(she dont have kids)
2)And,Is the visa transferable from family visa to work visa?

Hi,

1.) Your friend needs to transfer the sponsorship to the company and she will lose the status of a "dependendent". This is a prerequisite for her to start working.

2.) The details of family status etc needs to be discussed and negotiated with the company. She should not have a problem, if her total salary package is above SAR5,000.

There is nothing like "loosing a family visa", just that he will not have any dependents under his name. Once they have kids the husband can be the kids sponsor.

Yes, the visa status is transferable from "dependent/ family" to work and is a prerequisite.
