Hey guys!

I'm moving here for a new job in Sept. Any advice on apts, districts to live in, phone service, good gyms, good stores for vegetarian food options, cheap clothing/household goods to get set up, meeting people, portuguese classes would be really welcome!

Thanks!

Liz

Check out the website gringoes.com for a lot of good information.  Also do a blog search.  There are many expats keeping blogs that include fun, important, specific and emotional posts that may be helpful.

Good luck
