Car Insurance in Italy for Expats

We are due to receive our car from the US this week. We are wanting to find insurance but have been quoted large prices (lowest 1600) from Italsure and Clements. Does anyone know of a cheaper car insurance? We have a Toyota Matrix 2006 in great condition. Please email me quickly.

Hello pepperpepper,It may be too late now but another thread indicated that Direct line who are pretty cheap in England also operate in Italy and for anyone in England thinking of moving to Italy I'm told that you can transfer over your existing policy but check first. Mick
