Delay in visa invitation letter

Hey

I wonder why University must wait that long for Visa process, as I know They can get it within a month,
Private small companies they wait that long, not Educational government Organizations like Universities.

The wait is really draining ...

Sometimes its normal process also depends on actual need , u can mail me in private and till what university i may help

me too! I got the offer for finance analyst 5 months back in a company and still waitinng for the visa. The company says everytime that they have applied for many visas and waiting for the governments approval. God knows how much time it will take :-/

Although I am not sure this delay is at the university level. It is more of a ministry delay thing.

Did you get your visa?  I got an offer in June 2015 and still waiting. Please, share with us how did it go with you. Is there a way to shorten waiting period.

I got offer letter for the post of Professor in Feb, 2015. But till today i do not get the visa invitation.

I can confirm that I had received my Visa back in mid December 2014, with the process taking over 5 months.

That is normal, no need to panic. You are in a similar situation to mine. I was lucky to receive mine mid December. So another 2 months of waiting for you I am afraid.
