Hi everyone,

I am currently preparing to live and work out in Catalonia for a few months, possibly in later 2015.

For the past year or so I have been learning Catalan and I am progressing somewhat. I have been taking private lessons, well I was, until my tutor returned back to Barcelona, so right now I am self teaching using the Teach Yourself Catalan course.  It would be nice to have someone to chat in Catalan to.

Over the next year I will be learning Castelliano, or Spanish, as it is commonly called, again taking private lessons but I have a couple of Spanish friends here in Liverpool who will be able to help too, so I'm confident and looking forward to commencing learning.

I've also enrolled on a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course, which begins in December and which I'm pretty excited about as this certification will help me get by if I don't immediately find work in my chosen industry, which is Helpdesk./ Tech Support.

Anyway, sorry to rattle on, just thought I'd say Hi .

Regards.

Hi Alwyn
Nice to virtually meet you! I see you're motivated about learning Catalan so I've copied and pasted some links that I gave to a friend of mine when he was learning the language. Hope they're useful! Try Lingo Bongo for langauge exchanges.
See you.
Andy
