Work Permit in Maldives

Good Day Mates,

Recently i got a job offer from a resort in Maldives and i have shared my passport copy with them, as per them they have processed my passport t get a work permit in Maldives , How long does it take to get work permit in Maldives & what other document they require for work permit.

It took a couple of weeks for me (but I was already in the Maldives at the time). They take your biometric data upon entering the Maldives. You're also required by law to do a medical check up.

When it comes to documents, your employer takes care of most of the administrative work. It can take a while for it to be processed though, they don't always work that fast here.

I have received offer letter for joining a school as a teacher in maldives. I accepted the offer before 3rd jan. Now it is February 8 .still I have not received the work permit. How long will it take?
