Volunteering and Charity

Now that you are in Malaysia , one can think about giving back.Your are enjoying a cultural experience here among other things . So how about giving back. There are charities for kids, animals, homeless, elderly. None of these mean giving to the beggars or handouts to the ones on the streets.   These are all tested by me.They may not be big and international well theres hardly or NO funding for admin and anything like that. All projects and money are raised by the founders and people who believe in these causes.Real altruism practised here. None of these groups are funded by the Government nor religious groups.  Not many expats know abot any of these grops. I know most of them all and have been a volunteer  or sponsor for most of these at some point in my life.

Disclaimer : In my view, its so good to do some charity especially when you know whatever you give goes directly to the cause. These are directly in contact with Malaysian kids, poor, and animals....

Thanks for the tips, Do you happen to know if these organisations have activity in Penang. We would really consider contributing some help to this type of work.
