How does the Parking Citation Appeal Process Works in Malaysia

Post new topic

Zzak

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has ever contested a parking citation.
I was In Putrajaya last week and couldn't find any parking space near department of transport office so I parked on the street and got an parking citation.
So now yesterday, I go to my local police station traffic department to take care of the citation and the beautiful
lady at the counter informed me it's RM 150.
Well it's lot of money for a parking ticket, so I am thinking to go through a appeal process.
I would greatly appreciate your guidance, if anyone has done it , or is it even worth fighting this.
Thank you
Zzak :)

hey dude,

Putrajaya has lots of places to park your car...mostly near the office blocks....u can find lots of places where cars are parked. During office hrs most of the place near a specific office will be totally full but u can get spaces a little bit far from the respective office that ur going.

and abt appealing its better u pay the RM150...cause the hassle that u will go thru to appeal will b too much. so its worth to pay the money....and for ur infor i think if u didnt pay with in 15days it will change to RM300

Gudluk man
