tv ariel installation

Hi Guys
I have Satellite tv ( Indovision) .. but need a new tv ariel installed for analogue tv . Can anyone recommend a good installer ( Klungkung area )

Many thanks

Fred

When I has Indovision, all the local channels were provided free on their system.
Unless you want an aerial for another room, no point.

As a note, you can also split the AV out so it feeds two rooms, but only with the same channel.
Some units will also allow you to split the HDMI, but others display a message about being unable to copy programs.

many thanks for your reply .. I have an 8 bedroomed villa ... 3 with Indovision .. need good tv coverage for the other rooms .. that's why I need a good ariel installed

Fred

I see.
You need a nice high gain aerial, with an eight way splitter, probably powered, but only 3 or 6db gain.
The splitter depends on how good the aerial performs on a single TV.
As most riggers in Indonesia tend to be cowboys, I'd buy the biggest aerial you can find in a local electronics shop, feed it to one TV, then decide on the distribution amp after you've seen the picture.
The usual way is to feed cables from every room to the loft, and install the dist amp up there.

Note. If you put the aerial into your bedroom, then take a coax up to the loft, you can also feed one satellite channel to the other rooms.
Of course, you can't watch porn channels if guests or kids are in the house, as they'll be able to see it.

You can link into a single room first, in order to check picture quality.
Don't install the aerial in the loft, it always creates problems.

Added.
Don't make the electricians mistake of trying to ring main coax runs.
Each TV MUST be fed from a single point.

Thank you for your information ... but what I really need is a contact number for a good tv ariel installer
