Good Day All

Is there any local law which makes it mandatory for any private employer to give a particular percentage of wage increment as stated by govt to the employers and if this rule exists is it applicable only to local Omani employee or also for the expats.

Hi rinkubist,

As per the directives of the Ministry of Manpower, each employee is entitled to a minimum of 3% increase in salary every year. This is applicable for both locals as well as the expatriates working in Oman.
