Bringing maid from Vietnam

Post new topic

Kathy Truong

Dear all,

I'm thinking of bringing my current mai, who is also a far cousin to Jakarta with us. She is a Vietnamese like us.  Do anyone know an agency that can help us to arrange the long-term visa for her?

Thanks in advance

Huh???!!!

How can a Vietnamese legally work in Indonesia as a house keeper?

A long term visa (KITAS) is not enough...an IMTA (work permit) is required, and right now that would never be issued to a foreigner as there are plenty of locals who are qualified for that job.

she is a family member rite? I wouldnt maid my family member :) but that is just me, I'll just give her some money to start a decent business tht doesnt require a lot of capital, opening a warung maybe
