I'll be here for about six months, with my boyfriend, and am looking for volunteering as well as part-time job opportunities to make the most of my time here. I studied Psychology at a small liberal arts school in the US and would like to go into communications/journalism work.

If you have any ideas, or just wanna say hi, do message me! I don't bite.

New in the forum, but old in town ;D
Been in Brussels for some 9 years now, trying to be less workaholic and more outgoing.

If you stay long enough in town, you will notice that everyone are moving out in few years. So from time to time I find new activities and mix with newcomers.

Hi all!

I'm not new on the forum but the website doesn't let me send private messages anymore so I reintroduce myself :-)

I'm Belgian living in Brussels and I work for a market research company specialised in market researches with expat people. We propose to expat to participate to one-to-one interviews or focus groups in Brussels. Of course, to thank them for their time, we give them an incentive (e.g. 40€ for one hour interview).

If you're interested to take part, feel free to contact me :-)

hello, my name is Eduardo and I moved to Brussels to try to have better live conditons and professional opportunities. I'm Portuguese and I left because the situation there is incredibly sad as in other countries of Europe due to corruption and economical crisis.

I was admitted in the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles last September, and since there the big change started.

It would be nice to create new contacts with people who have been trough a similar situation as I do. ´
Who knows, maybe I can find nice friends here !

All the best for you and see you maybe! :)

Eduardo
