Portuguese tutor

Post new topic

I've been doing self-study and language exchange for a few months (I live in São Paulo), but I feel like I'm learning way too slowly.
I've Googled "Portuguese classes", but the schools only offer programs of 20 - 50 hours of classes per week, which I can't fit into my schedule.

Does anyone know a Portuguese tutor, or where I can find one? :)

Thanks!

What schools are you looking at? If you're looking at the Portuguese for Foreigners courses at universities, that's right they are essentially full-time programs.

Many of the traditional (commercial) language schools have Portuguese language classes. Try Berlitz, Wizard and Fisk first since I'm almost positive they do have them. Try the others too and don't sign with anybody until you've found out ALL of the courses available and which is the best value for money.
