Hi all,

We invite you to talk about the cost of living in Slovenia in 2015, with an updated price listing.

Don't forget to mention in which city of Slovenia you are living in.

How much does it cost to live in Slovenia?

> accommodation prices

> public transportation fares (tube, bus etc.)

> food prices (your monthly budget)

> health prices (for those who need medical insurance)

> education prices (if you need to pay)

> energy prices (oil, electricity)

> common bills (Internet, television, telephone, mobile phone)

> price for a good menu in a traditional restaurant

> price for a coffee or a drink

> price for cinema tickets

Do not hesitate to add items to this list! ;)

Thank you in advance for your participation.

Hi jerc,

Thank you for this link but it would be great if we can have some testimonies / expat experiences on the Cost of living in Slovenia. Can you share your own experience about this topic? ;)

Thank you

jerc

hey
I have to admit since i'm a student abroad i don't really know the average rent or other groceries prices but it also depends where u want to be. Recently I travelled to eastern part of slovenia "Ptuj" and i notice that things are cheaper than in my place "novo mesto" and the coast is more expensive than my place. Rent for two room apartment is approx 450-500€, one 300-350€. It also depends if you are renting in suburbs or city/town center and real estate prices are dropping for few years now. I hope some other guy can fill in more info.
