Hi Rizvan, (A QIUCK NOTE)

I don't think it's a bad offer. Considering the labourmarkt in NL its really hard to find a job. It depends on your education and level you're operating with.

I had a look today:
In which they will be paying 2813.39 Euros as monthly wage. It depends on your education and level you're operating with.

Monthly Benifit Budget of : 725 ( for Car Lease or Contract ) MORE THAN ENOUGH (leaseplandirect.nl/?gclid=COytsJvvqcMCFc_LtAodKicAlw)

SO total Monthly :  4017 (approx before tax) YOUR SAL IS REALLY MORE THAN ENOUGH TO HAVE A GOOD LIFE IN NL. DON'T FORGET THE 30% TAX RULE FOR EXPATS YOUR EMPLOYER CAN INFORM YOU belastingdienst.nl/wps/wcm/connect/bldcontenten/belastingdienst/individuals/living_and_working/working_in_another_country_temporarily/you_are_coming_to_work_in_the_netherlands/30_facility_for_incoming_employees/

THINK ABOUT LIVING IN NL, IT IS REALLY NOT THAT CHEAP. IF YOU NEED AN APARTMENT THIS WILL COST YOU APPR. 1200 ALL IN. huurwoningen.nl/huurwoningen.php?gclid=CPzf0p3wqcMCFcjHtAodLVMA5w

LAST BUT NOT LEAST. I WOULDN'T WAIT FOR ENGLAND THE LABOUR MARKET IN ENGLAND IS ALSO NOT SO GOOD.

GOOD LUCK

@ Grace_NL thanks for your reply

If being a bachelor with room sharing how much expenses would be there on an average monthly, considering leading a semi luxurious life in Amsterdam.

Grace_NL

Room sharing has nothing to do with a title. It depends on how you want to live. Pls visit the website I gave you. It will give you more information about how much you want to spend or how you want to live --> Semi luxurious.. NL is one of the most expensive city in Europe. For your daily shopping/food etc aprox 500 pmnth is good enough. Going out for dinner apr 40€ 4* rest. Av € 20

Living Conditions/ Cost of living
The Netherlands is a relatively expensive country compared to other EU countries.

The cost of living varies according to area, and there is a clear difference between living in a town or city and living in the country. The cities are the most expensive, above all Amsterdam.

It is cheaper to live in the north and east of the country than in the centre and west of the Netherlands (the Randstad, the conurbation of the western Netherlands).

Although it is difficult to give a precise picture of the cost of living, below is an overall picture of the price of some products:

Cigarettes (rolling tobacco without papers): EUR 7.50
Bread: EUR 2.20
Cup of coffee:EUR 2.26
Glass of beer:EUR 2.50
Chips with croquette:EUR 4.00
Cinema ticket:EUR 12.50
Short bus ride:EUR 2.00
Litre of petrol:EUR 1.75
Car hire (medium-sized):EUR 80.00 lease is cheaper (check the website i gave you)
Two-course menu in a restaurant:EUR 27.50

The price of food varies from shop to shop, so it is advisable to compare prices. i.e. Albert Heijn, Plus, Lidle, Aldi and so on

The Netherlands has many different types of supermarket, but each town or village has a shop. Most towns and villages have a weekly market where it is possible to buy food, clothing, flowers and tools/utensils. Market prices are lower than those in shops.

The Netherlands also has various second-hand shops, e.g. the “Kringloopwinkel”, a shop specialising in recycled goods. In these shops you can buy clothing, household items and furniture.

Many Dutch people are currently finding it difficult to make ends meet, and there are various bodies offering advice and information on how to deal with debt and money in general.

Hi,
I am Indian and living in Amsterdam for last 40 years.

My advice.

Go to Great Britain. They dont have jobs for unqualifeid people. But as software Engineers they have many.

Most important. They speak our language, You find Indian restaurant s and shops on Every corner, 60% cheaper than in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is very Nice if You are just only coming tot work but rest is very hard. Just consider.
Go tot great britain and if You dont find anything till April You can always join Amsterdam in April is just 40 minuten flight from Londen to Amsterdam. And very cheap. With easyJet. Chears take care.and goodluck.

My advice go for UK your salary alsof wil be higher. They value educated people on there qualility.
You can communicate much easier.

Aiwee

My husband says a software engineer (fresh from uni) would earn about 2.5k gross.
With some experience you will be looking around 3.5k - 5k, depending how good you are.

Car lease is taxable on the car value I think. Not sure if this applies for expats though.

Consider renting a room in a shared apartment in Amsterdam can cost you between Euro500 (nothing fancy at all) to Euro1500 depending on location and types/condition of the shared place. Eating out (decently, but no high end) will cost you between Euro50-75 per person. Eating at an Indian restaurant for a person around Euro30-40. Grocery per person a month around Euro400 (excluding alcohol)... I am not sure you can have a "luxury life" with that income but surely can pay the bills and save a couple of hundreds if you watch your budget.
