Work permit in Malta

Post new topic

HardWorkingGuy

If I have a work permit from Malta, would I be able to apply for a job in another EU country or UK?  I heard from a friend of mine that its possible but I can't find any proof, I would greatly appreciate any info or link that would enlighten me.

No, you can't get a work permit from Malta and work in another EU country. Work permits are always specific to one country only and even specific for a certain job.

Of course you can apply for a new work permit in another EU country. Whether or not you get one is a different question.

If you get a work permit as a room cleaner you can't work as a construction worker or carer. Such changes require a new work permit.
