Hi, we are considering moving your area and am wondering what the town is like. I have read that many are harrassed by locals. Are you comfortable in soufreire?

Hi Karen,

My husband and I have lived in the New Development neighborhood in Soufriere for many years and we feel very comfortable as we know all of our neighbors and the area is very safe. There are always beggars in town, particularly outside the grocery store, but they are harmless and if you tell them no they will leave you alone. People in town are very friendly and welcoming...I'm sure you'll be fine and make many friends.
