I am scheduled to go to Jubail this September. May I ask how much is the average monthly cost of food for one person? I'm not a sucker for fine dining because I'l be there to save money, but of course I still have to eat.

Depends on where you live, what you eat, etc. For instance, in my compound they have a food plan that is included with your rent (optional).

For restaurants, mostly Saudi, Indian places. Not that many Western or fast food joints.

Do you cook or are you going to eat out ever day? I cook so don't eat out alot, but when I "go local" it runs no more than 10-12 Riyal for a simple meal.
