water tank over flowing help please!!!

hi I'm living in the springs and have a water tank outside my house it started to overflow today and I CANT STOP it can anybody help please

Many water tanks throughout the world have a float-ball shutoff valve (looks just like the shutoff in a toilet tank) which shuts off the incoming flow of water to the tank and only opens again when the water drops below the level that is desired.

It sounds to me like the float ball is either stuck in the down (open) position, or that perhaps it has been perforated and has filled with water causing it to sink to the bottom leaving the water flow open. If you have access to the inside of the water tank you should check this out.

Oh BTW Forgot to mention, if this continues, DEWA will still charge you according to water rates applies in your area.
