Move from Bangkok to Phnom Penh via land border

Dear expats, I intend to move to Phnom Penh from Bangkok with all my belongings (not a lot of furniture, but quite a bit of computer equipment and a pool table, roughly 16m3). Since I am not really fancy to wait for my stuff for as long as a month (which will be the case when shipping through the gulf of Thailand) I wonder whether someone did a move via land border. Any experiences? How would it work with customs?
