But .....the hotel was demolished years ago to make room for the new appartment block  on the Marina.

no, it is not there as it was demolished 10 years ago !

Interestingly, the French name lapin means rabbit which is the same as the popular Maltese name Fenech, the name of the former owner.

The name of the new building is Blue Harbour although the harbour is not really that blue and usually smells.

And, Alfie, it is not a hotel and does not belong to Best Western.
