advice on moving and working in malta

Post new topic

Hi all
In a nutshell I'm looking for advice on the above heading.
At present I'm with my partner and kids in rainy Manchester and needless to say I'm bored off it now, hey after 31 years can you blame me?!
I totally love Malta, the relaxed atmosphere, great people and of course plenty off sun :) and would love any expats over there to give me advice on how to come over with my family to live.
If anyone could pass on any info my email is andrewmia69@yahoo.co.uk
Thanks :)
#If any employers see this advert I'm a qualified Chef and my partner is a qualified Swimming Instructor and also qualified Nursery Nurse.
Any more information I can pass would be no problem :)

Welcome Andrew. My advice is to read some of relevant messages in the forum and then if you still have some questions ask them specifically. Ricky and others have posted LOTS of relevant information about the job market etc. Most of the other stuff is lifestyle choice (where to live etc).

You don't say how old your kids are but you will want to read up about schools - you may end up choosing to go private so you'll have to budget for that. The other "gotcha" I wish I'd realised before I got here was how expensive cars are here.

Good luck and if you have a few specific questions go ahead and ask.
