Iqamah for Canadians

Is an iqamah a Must for Canadians? How can I get somebody to be my kafeel without having to work for them.

I hope that's not a weird question.

your employer is your kafeel

By the way Iqama is ID for the foreingers

sometimes it seems strange to have to have kafeel so you can't do anything else in the kingdom like private teaching is there way around it? Having your passport with you is not enough?

as far as i know if you are working let's say a company for example you cant have any part time job outside your company . but you can arrange it personally without their knowledge specialty if its teaching job.
