You can find out a lot of information on studying in Germany as a foreigner on this website:

Do you mean school or university? University classes are usually in German. Some classes in some subjects might be taught in English but this is an exception. One cannot expect to study at a German University without first learning German and meeting the academic requirements. To learn German, there are language schools or the Volkshochschule which is similar to a community college in the USA. Language schools are probably going to cost more but (at least theoretically) might offer more specifically focused courses and/or smaller classes or even individual tutoring. University is now tuition free but there are always extra fees and cost of living which is not cheap. The following website gives good information in English about all aspects of studying in Germany:

Hi Beppi, thought I would alert you to this site which is for international students in Germany and is in English and German! Seems like an excellent source of information:

Hey, this really is an excellent website - it is also run by an official organisation (Studentenwerk) and much of what it offers complements the site I usually refer to (study-in.de). I will in future mention both to posters. Thanks!
