I moved there in 1994 started the move in September 1993, maybe flew back and forth 10-12 times that year and then drove down in 1998 with my attack Yorkie

like respect the people,
be nice,
don't litter,
support the local small scale businesses

and go surfing

be nice respect the locals
be aware at all times of course
go jump in the ocean then go to the mountains within an hour
great beer and local fresh food
best place to invest, work and put folks to work

support the local businesses over the POS gringo chains that are there especially like the fast food
always carry a book, and personally I dont do tall buildings or elevators anymore since 1-13-2001
