Hi folks. I've just moved over here from chester in North West England. I'm hoping to find work doing whatever I need to get by!
I have lots of experiance includng Painting and decorating, Gardening, Cooking, Bar work, Customer Service and even Karaoke entertaining!!
I know about the usual sites and The Times etc,but I've always found that 'word of mouth'is a good way to find out about local jobs and happenings.
I have short dreadlocks which may restrict me in certain sectors of the job market here but I'm willing to do anything.
Any advice or leads would be very much appriciated.

Hi Steve,

Welcome to the Forum and to Malta.

There are a lot of post about the job market situation on the Forum that should help you in general.

Apart from the options you mentioned you should also look at the ETC website at.

etc.gov.mt

Follow 'view full list of vacancies' and there also 'job permit vacancies' and the complete list.Some show you the salary that can be expected.
