hi I am naisha and im from philippines but currently living and working here in dubai united arab emirates..i am planning to move in malaysia KL to find new job,is it easy or difficult?can someone advice me,thanks!

You won't get a job like that. Stay in UAE far easier to find work there as a foreigner as foreigners do all the work.

No one should arrive in KL looking for a job unless they have 6 months worth of cash available (24k RM min) to spend, are over 27, have significant experience in either oil and gas, education, distribution, IT or marketing (hardest). Any other industry is almost impossible (medical as a lecturer first is possible). Even so I highly recommend getting a job first.

HR, accountancy, admin, finance or any kind of non-professional work is practically impossible if you turn up hoping for a job.

Although one job is open - call centre work - very low paid and loads of Filipinos I heard from a young local Chinese grad (who couldn't get her dream job) she said mostly Fillipinos as pay so low Malaysians don't want the work. These are not expat jobs but foreign workers - low paid and supplied form the Phillipines. I don't think you can legally apply for these types of jobs while in Malaysia you have to be supplied via an agent.

Welcome to the forum.

Are you moving to KL ??
If so how about giving us a little information about yourself, where you want to move to, what sort of job you are looking for, qualifications and experience, etc etc etc.

Hi Naisha,

Depends on the profession, qualifications and experience. You can try searching online on jobstreet first, apply and then perhaps come over for interviews. Best of luck.

cheers,
H
