Etimad center asking for police clearance certificate for family visa

what's confusing, its a common practice

its confusing my dear, on appointment letter they have not mentioned any thing but when some body visit office they asked for PCC. its again random some person does not experience this and some experience this issue

Just stamped family visa from Karachi Embassy,they didn't ask for any PCC.

Brother my family visa stamping takes 10 days total including courier shipping.
normally it takes 3 to 5 working days but due to rush of umra and visit visas on embassy they take time.

So its mean delay only in work visa process not in family visa & visit visa..?

Yes mostly the delay is in work visa.

Yes recently they are asking for it, according to them its a new requirement from saudi embassy/consulate. I think if so they should produce the notification paper rather than verbally. I believe etimad staff in Pakistan is cheating us and giving police dept their share.... obviously police would ask for money.
