Importing bike from Philippines

Post new topic

I have the Kawasaki bajaj Rouser 180.. Name Pulsar 180 in Indonesia.  I'm planning to move Indonesia and I want to bring it with me for its still new 1month.. Any advices for my situation?
I know I'll face customs and tax but I don't know the steps.. Thank you  fellow expats

First  you d better decompose it into pieces and ship it later. you can put some part into your own luggage when your traveling even.Dont forget to bring the bike purchase bill  as a proof to show to  the customs that s already used so (so less taxes) they will not deal with you as a new imported product.

Aw so I have to disassemble ah.  Cannot be imported as it is? How about bring my Lcd TV and dvd player? Nobody will use it here so better bring.. In airport they will charge me?

As long as it s 1 peice, they will not charge u. even if it s a new peice usually customs don charge anything coz the law for family gifts is 1 peice. as for ur CD, i think it would damaged on board.
