Hi, i just want to ask if they verify your driver's license with your home country. Because i am a canadian and i can save a few bucks ($40-60) if i get a fake id that are sold in downtown toronto rather then getting my G1 for $100+ which technically doesnt even permit me to drive alone lol. My understanding is that i wont get an Ontario one but from either BC or Alberta or whatever they have to offer, but it has to be from canada since im a canadian.

So i just want to know if they officially verify the validity and legitimacy of this license in which case they probably even know that G1 is just a computer/paper test and G2 and above is the actual license. What do you guys think ?

I think it's a foolish risk to try to save such a small amount of money.
