New life...

Post new topic

Ninio

Hi everyone, my name is Mehdi and i'm from Paris.

I am 22 and i decided to move to the USA at the end of this year.

I want to start a new life, meet new people and improve my english of course.

But now, i don't know where to go? Boston, Miami,New york, L.A ???

I want to work in a hotel first, find a small flat and meet a lot of people.

Oh and by the way, when i said "i start a new life", it really means that i go with the minimum in bank so i can live a new adventure...

Can you tell me what city could be the most interresting to live in at least for a year?

Sorry if my english is bad but i promise i will improve it! :-)

Thank you guys!

Christine

Dear Ninio,

As it almost the end of the year, you probably already have chosen where to live in the USA right? If not, I would advise you to buy the book 'Living & Working USA'. In this book there is a short introduction about the different regions in the States. Unfortunately, it does not describe every state in detail (still looking for it, so if anybody knows of such a book...), but it does give you an idea of how these regions look like, about their food, the people, the culture etc. Hope that will do it for you. In case you made up your mind already: where are going to live in the States? I'm also thinking of moving there after my study, so I'm very interested! Good luck!

Regards,
Sjoerd
