How long does it take to get your Residence Permit in Mauritius ?

There are several types of residence permit depending on your circumstances i.e. marriage to Mauritian citizen, business start up etc and the large house investment schemes. Each will take time as you often have to visit some government offices more than once to complete the application process which means providing evidence etc.

Bear in mind that 'Large property' does not, in itself, grant you residency. It should be in IRS / RES/ or a high-scale commercial enterprise (Where property acquisition is an essential investment)

There is no such thing as a Business Permit.

hi, am a kenyan n i got married to my fiancee in Jan this yr 2015,,,, i applied for my resident permit in the beginning of Feb n in March it was ready
