Depending upon your family, an average monthly rental of an ordinary 2 BR apartment is around 350 - 400 Rials (Depending upon the location). Rest of the COL breakup is well discussed in many earlier posts.

If you could elaborate the nature of your work, e.g.  Engineering / Business /Infrastructure / Construction, we could then probably suggest you a better analysis.

In my opinion and with this experience, the offered salary seems relatively OK, however not too welcoming. Highlighting "TOP" indicates that the salary packages in TOP organizations are relatively high, compared to other companies. Trust you get my point with it.

Thanks for your valuable info'. I am into engineering design. Anyways when I asked for more the employer said the offer is based on my years of experience. They have predefined slabs. Anyways, i have asked for couple of hundred more which they said that they will try and revert shortly.

Lets hope for the best.

On this whats your opinion?
