This time it should not take much time as HMC is targeting to close most of the recruitment before end of the year. Keep checking your Visa application status (link given below) if at all HMC has already applied fora  visa for you.

Credentially in some cases was done parallel , but I received my visa only after my academics and experiences were verified. So credentialing is important for HMC and they may mostly apply for a visa only after the credentialing is completed. grades are based on the position you have applied for and your experience. earlier it was your basic, transport and housing details along with travel ticket details were given. However now I heard because of the change in labour laws, they are issuing new offers which are different from earlier.

The official opening of Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) Communicable Disease Center (CDC) last week marked the start of the largest expansion phase in HMC’s history. The addition of this latest facility to HMC’s portfolio brings the total number of hospitals to nine at present, with three more hospitals set to open over the next six months.

I have applied to HMC directly, interviewed, and got selected.Sent all the required documents to the concern department.Last week i contacted the secretery,she replied your documents sent to HR, they will finalize paper work and then contact you.
Please give your valuable inputs, how long it will take to get the offer letter.

be patient, they may respond in 3 weeks (that's the normal time) in some cases they also took 3-4Months. So you have to be patient enough, do not resign from your current job unless HMC HR confirms your recruitment and you have your visa. I know you may have a notice period but it's always advisable to wait till you get you Visa and then you can resign serve your notice and travel (HMC will not have any problem in waiting for you).

I singed my final contract in alkhor hospital and my visa was issued from 9/2016 and till now I didnot recieve any conformation from HR team and the time of visa will expire in 7/03/2017 I donot know what I do for that and many emails sent to HR but no answer
any dvise ????

Good to know the progress. what position and which department you'll be part of??

I guess you are referring to Medical Insurance, well that's already covered here, we have a staff medical center where you can always walk in . for Family, well, you just have to make a health card and you'll be allotted a health center based on your residency location.

Well, the actual medical for you will only happen in Qatar once you arrive here. However at times they just want to make sure you have no major problems (may also depend on the nature of job). If this is a direct hiring then they should not be asking you anything however if there is a consultant in between then, yes they may ask at times. So, if this is a consultant then ask them where you should be getting the tests done and if this is direct hiring  then you can walk in to any diagnostic center and get the tests done. However your reports will not be valid here and you will again be asked to get a few test (Hepititis, hiv, chest x-ray etc.,) done before they give you a residence permit (that's the general role for anyone who comes to qatar and the cost will be paid by the sponsor).

There is a new grading systems in HMC and currently it's applicable to all the new joinees only. Honestly, I am really not sure where does G05 stands out to be because we don't have any exposure to the new grading system as of now.. I'll come back to you  if at all I get any info.

Do not worry about the Visa, If they want to hire you, they can get another Visa in a day's time

Do you have any idea whether  HMC recruitment resumed or not ?? As I have received new revised offer letter in  week back and after that no sound from HR Dep.

I've heard that hamad are waiting for approval for recruitment funding for 2017 can you confirm this is true? Also do you know if they are still recruiting for pharmacist positions as they are still being advertised on certain recruitment sites?

I had a pediatric contract at Al Khor Hospital and issued Visa and today has expired and I  contacted with the administration to the hospital have been news that he had been tow  canceled positions by the Hamad Medical Corporation and currently I am one of them, they will communicate with me as soon as a new vacancy position ,my question Do I have to waiting list  and I can not apply for a other place in the Hamad , corporation if  new position  is available ,and I know HMC large and respectable corporation  and although  many messages I sent , no one told me something, Do I have right  for how long to wait???

HMC have been asking some Docs+ my recent photograph,is it required to send all docs hard copy or if I send soft copy its ok. Since I am staying in Sri Lanka it is too costly to send Docs through Currier.

Normally it's all scan copies until you are here in Qatar. However if they have asked specifically for Hard copies then you may have to courier them here. But if they have not specified anything then spimply scan and forward that's what normally required.

I am not sure what's with the Visa and your recruitment. However there have been many people who were recruited and there Visas were also issued but they never joined as the recruitment for finish as someone else was locally soruces or the opening went on hold etc.. However the HR here do maintain a waiting list which is like whenever there is a specific opening, they will 1st pick up from the waiting list. And yes you can apply to other open positions if you know of any  and also advise the recruiter that you are already interviewed for so and so position.

Trust me I am not sure where does people get these news about waiting for approval etc., But yes I am sure HMC will need to hire more in the near future however there is no news about it as of now. Yes, there are many openings in the Pharmacy dept, you can refer to the Hamad website for all the openings and you are from India then refer to the below link. This link is of a 3rd party vendor who is a major recruiter for HMC in India.

Photos can also be scanned. as I said if they are specifically asking you for Hard copies then you don't have a choice if nothing is specified then just scan all your docs and photos.

If I'd been in your place and confused, Id contact them and ask them if they need a hard copy or soft. So you can always contact them and get through.

Many thanks for your response. I've had an email from my recruitment agency GMR to say apparently they are interviewing the most urgent priority positions that need filling first then the rest will follow. The position i have applied for apparenlty have not yet been shortlisted. This is the same update i keep getting since last year although at that time i had to submit all my ducments in 24hrs hours. I have tried calling the Hamad HR but no one ever seems to answer. Is there any email contacts or anything you can suggest Kashif that I can do to contact Hamad?
