We are just a group of friends and decided to do meaningful event which including a one day trip. Please come to our gathering and discussion for this :

We have put in lots of effort and time to organise this. We hope to have more support to join us in our trip which is as follows:
CHARITY TRIP TO BEN TRE PROVINCE
Date : 28 June 2015
Venue : Thanh Trieu Primary School, Thanh Trieu Village, Chau Thanh District, Ben Tre Province
Mission:To provide 100 poor families & 50 poor children with food (rice,oil,instant noodles ,sugar etc)
& education tools (pen, notebook,stationaries etc)
Agenda:
6:00 am : pick up & breakfast on bus(announce soon)
8:30 am : arrive charity venue
9:00 am – 11:30 am: charity activities & interactions
12:00 pm : depart for Tien Giang – Ben Tre tour, have lunch and begin the tour:
-Visit coconut candy factory,crocodile farm, drink honey tea, listen to traditional music, go boating along some small rivers ..etc
16:00 pm : Depart to hcm. 18.00 arrive hcm
Fees: 500,000 VND/ pax (200,000 VND will be donated to the charity fund, 300,000 VND including breakfast, drink, lunch, tour fees)
* Fees are encouraged to transfer before 20 June 2015* First come , first serve – limited seats
Please help us to collect more donations to make this a successful event. Let us make things happen.

THANK YOU . It is always good to help the needy. I got a local team to help me and we have been working hard to get donations and other stuff. Everything is going well and we hope to reach out 50 million vnd target soon. Thank you for your support.

I am interested, but can you provide a little better explanation of what "charity activities & interactions" is and what exactly we will be doing? Where will we get all of the supplies from?

Thanks for your support. We have been getting donation of education materials which we will give to the children. The food stuff will be packed after we order. Hope you can come to see us on Sunday. It is easier to explain . See you

Most expats here would like to return something back to the country. This is the chance we can repay back to the unfortunate and poor people. We do what we can and as much as we can. Thank you for all the support. We will do our best and will post some photos here after the event. Please come and meet us if you are interested to donate or go for the event. Thank you
Hi richard, today evening got gathering for the charity trip? This sunday i couldn't make it because I am flying back to malaysia.. But i sponsor 5 people whoever wanna go for this trip.. I will come and pay for the fee later evening. Anything else do you need for this event?

I got school stationery pencils, pens, tooth brushes tooth paste etc
these are for the school projects in Cambodian, would like
to do my part and donate to the BT charity trip
I am in HCMC from 26th to 28th , am free to meet up on 27th whole day.
Any chance to pass the stationery to you, if not than another time.

We will get a big bus to accommodate 45 people. Up to now we have 3 more seats left. We do not know when we will have the next. Organizers have spent much time n planning to get this work. We would like to thank many new friends who just came and donate generously and putting their trust on us. We assure you kind people every single dong will be put to good use and direct to the poor people.
All donations will be in our Fb page and expenses will be transparent too.
We will provide food stuff to 160 families and education packs to 50 children.
We will also reward smart students to receive bicycles
Each participant will be given a duty to help along in the event.
After lunch ,we will be going for the tour and spent the day with friends from many countries.
This will be a memorable event for all of us..

Notification from the organizer of the Ben Tre Charity Event.
On Sunday 28 June, bus depart at 6.15am.
We will at the corner of Pham Ngu Lao street and De Tham street (opposite High Land coffee),
You will see our banner and wearing yellow tag for identification .
Breakfast (beef or chicken burger) and mineral water will be provided on bus.
Wear casual and bring shades/ umbrella. Please be punctual. Be a good team player.

I managed to make it to HCM city. SInce I have already paid and donated, I am looking forward tomorrow on the charity trip. I am sure is going to be awesome and exciting. I mean nothing like contributing some time for the needy in Vietnam.

Richard, well done for organising such a worthy cause event. To all that have contributed and helped in any way, well done too.
Thank you all for the donations and gifts. We organized this event within 3 weeks and managed to collect cash n gifts worth 130 million dong. There were all 53 attendees to the charity event from 12 different countries. Majority are local friends . Everyone worked well with great team work and the whole event went on smoothly blessed with good weather.
We supplied 160 families with food essentials like 10kg rice, cooking oil, seasoning, instant noodles, t shirt,milk etc. We provided 50 poor children with a great beg pack with goodies, school stationaries ,drinks and milk. Finally ,we provide poor students who achieved good result with bicycle. We bought 6 bicycles to inspire them to excel in their studies.
After the event , we proceed with out tour in the island. Everyone happy with boat,canal and horse carriage rides. Visiting coconut candy factory and listening to Mekong traditional music. Photos will be posted up soon. Please wait for it.
Once again, thank you all for your support. We shall meet again in our next activity.

Thank you Ms Nga for helping to post the photos. We are very happy for the success of this event. With the support of many friends and new friends..We managed to collect more than our target . We hope to organised another in the near future soon.
We will have our monthly gathering next sunday 19/7 . Hope to meet up with everyone again.

- 150 pencils
- 100 pens
- 100 rulers
- 100 boxes of crayon
- 140 noted books
- 100 toothpaste
- 70 soaps
- more than 200 new T-shirts
- other school supplies including pens, pencils, toothbrush… /
a) 160 gift packages for 160 families valued at VND 284,500 each package, including
- 10kg of rice
- 1 carton of Instant Noodle – Mi 3 Mien
- 1 bottle of cooking oil 1 litre Nakydako
- 1 bottle of fish sauce1 litre - Nam Ngư
- 1 bottle of soya sauce - 650ml Tam Thái Tử
- 1 pack of Ajingon 400g
- 1 pack of Ajinomoto 400g
- 1 kg of sugar
And additional quantity of:
- 5 packs of fresh milk = 20 bottles of TH true Milk
- 1 box of candy
- 1 T-shirt
Your financial support considerably contributed to the happiness and motivation to a brighter future of 160 families, 50 primary pupils of Thanh Trieu Village and 4 secondary pupils of Phu Tuc Village, Chau Thanh District, Ben Tre Province:
b) 50 gift packages for 50 pupils including:
- 1 carton of TH True Milk (12 packs x 4 bottle)
- 1 backpack (value at 130,000 VND/ pc)
- 20 notebooks
- 2 packs of cookies
- 1 coconut water
- 2 soaps
- 2 toothpaste
- 1 took brushes
- 1 small fan
- 1 T-shirt
- 2 rulers
- 2 boxes of crayon
- 2 pens (purple color)
- 3 pens (black colors)

- 6 pencils
c) 2 bicycles for 2 primary pupils of Thanh Trieu Primary School
d) 4 bicycles for 4 secondary pupils of Phu Tuc Secondary School
The event has been consistently supported by the People’s Committee of Thanh Trieu Village, Thanh Trieu Primary School and Phu Tuc Secondary School in relation to:
- Select the list of 160 poor families, arrange for pre-visit to some random families for us to check the status, arrange for the invitation letters to 160 poor families, 50 primary pupils, and representatives of 4 secondary students
- Select the most deserved 2 primary pupils and 4 secondary pupils for the 6 bicycles
- Arrange and host the event at Thanh Trieu Primary School
