I got an offer letter from Oman based Company for telecom Engineer Post .They told me that initially they will provide me technician or electrician visa but later on after arrival in Oman they will change the visa status to Engineer Visa after I will provide them Attested Degree.
Is it save to go on technician visa

It is of course a risky decision. If your employer does not manage to get the required labour clearance for your specific job, then you will be stuck with a lower position - officially. And it comes with its own share of disadvantages.

However, if your employer does manage to get the clearance, then perhaps your designation and status can be elevated. It has got nothing with you. It is all about the Ministry of Manpower giving a job clearance for your position. And that would depend on many other factors. Please read the forum if you want to know the details.

But it is a big risk, since clearances are very hard to come by these days.
