Dear ALL,

On date 24 September 2010, I was informed via email that I received in the company MOBIL OIL GAS COMPANY GHANA as Total Project Manager. However, the company informs me to contact GLOBAL VISA Travellers to the Work and Residence Permits in GHANA.

I've contacted and advised travelers GLOBAL send cost of registration $ 350.00 and after all the documents that have been paid diapprove embassy will sending for 72 hours.

What I want to know, whether the company MOBIL OIL GAS COMPANY GHANA are true ? To my knowledge, if accepted, everything is the responsibility of the company. And that became my surprise that the first month's salary will be sent to me plus all expenses to direimburs to the company.

Please kindly to be informed whether the company really exists and if so all costs associated with my able to remove it.

Regards / /

am an expatriate in Ghana such company usually cover cost of expatriates permit processing prior to your arrival, I  can clearly tell you that it was a job scam,  I will advise you to discontinue with GLOBAL VISA TRAVELER immediately for your good. you can check on ghanaweb.com  click on immigration then permit for details and should you seek job in Ghana you can use same website click on on jobs (under letter J)

should you find this information useful do not hesitate to pass it on and should you need further guidance  please feel free to email me , my profile ID on expat-blog is cj2010

Recruiting Scams

ExxonMobil does not use recruiting or placement agencies that charge candidates an advance fee of any kind (e.g., placement fees, immigration processing fees, etc.). Unfortunately, we've been made aware of unauthorized individuals using the ExxonMobil name and logo in emails and on web sites in an attempt to solicit up-front fees from interested job-seekers.

Periodically, ExxonMobil engages recruiting and/or placement agencies to help us identify potential candidates for specific positions. If you are contacted by a legitimate recruiting or placement agency, there should be no cost to you, the job-seeker.
