What is required to emigrate to Mauritius

Post new topic

Rodderz

We are a retired couple looking to leave RSA before our currency decline makes it impossible.

The questions is really can we emigrate to simply retire ie not working ?.

If so does one need to transfer currency and if so how much and how often?.

Can one have dual nationality ie RSA and Mauritius?

Is it possible to purchase a property but remain a RSA citizen and travel back and forth a number of times a year.
Is there any benefit in that approach.?

What are prices of an average 3 bed en-suite home in a secure neighbourhood ?.
Is it necessary to locate in a "secure" neighbourhood ( if such actually exist)..

At the end of the day I guess we are just fed-up with the deteriorating situation in RSA and are looking to move to a country where society is "more" normal.

But at the same time we would have the African Wildlife experience close at hand.

Not sure if all this makes sense.

To be close to AFRICAN WILDLIFE then look at properties in the Black River , Tamarin Flic-en Flac area as they will be close to Casela which has a good variety of animals some of which you can visit by Quad Bike or Safari Truck
