Old but valid Pakistani passport

Post new topic

wajji

Hi guys a friend of mine coming here from Ireland has an old (manual) but valid Pakistani passport. Can he travel to saudi arabia ?
As his embassy of pakistan in Ireland doesnt provide with the service of computerised passports like pakistani embassy in saudi.
Let me know.

Hello Wajji,

Your friend should first contact Saudi High commission  in Ireland or London and explain the situation. As long as Saudi Embassy agrees to issue a visa on non computerized Pakistani passport there should be no problem. :)

as per my knowledge and info manual passport is not accepted here in KSA and any Saudi embassy does not issue visa on manual passport anymore. If he has any other passport he can use and renew his old Pakistani passport here in Riyadh

I have the old manual passport and it's valid to enter to KSA and on the same I have travelled to USA and other countries. I don't think so that's a problem as of now (unless they changed the laws of the game recently) . But soon (as per IATA) mar-2016, those manual passports won't be allowed anymore.
